Six thousand dollars is the average Net Worth of people living in the inner cities of America and in rural America. That’s right, $6,000. The net worth of our brothers and sisters living outside of America is even less than that. At CIT, we are committed to leveling the playing field through our high-level technology platforms. We aim to shape world leaders and innovators with a passion for eliminating poverty and generating equitable wealth. We will reach out to anyone willing to make the sacrifices it takes to win.
The lynching of our brother George Floyd and the continual turmoil in America has not weakened our resolve. In fact, it has only strengthened us. We will not waiver, we will not bow down and we will not fail in our mission to end a cycle of poverty, frustration and anger. To that end, we have reached out across the borders to Africa and opened an office in downtown Kampala, Uganda, to enlist our fellow men in our training programs. And we will continue to reach out to all disenfranchised people over the world.
We ask that you join us is on our journey to eradicate the hopelessness that so many of our fellow humans feel.
Together, WE CAN WIN.

CODEIT’s Response to COVID-19
To Our CIT Family,
We have long been driven in our mission to develop those at the lower end of the spectrum with the skills sets and knowledge to remove them from a cycle of poverty and to create opportunity and generational wealth for you and your families. We are approaching the current COVID-19 outbreak with this value in mind. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, employees, and community. To do our part in helping prevent the spread of coronavirus, we have implemented a video conferencing format to continue our mission. Effective immediately all classes will be conducted via video conferencing until further notice.
If you are a prospective student or are enrolled in a class that hasn’t started yet and have questions about an upcoming class, please email info@citinstitute.tech or the recruiter you have been working with. We are still actively accepting applications for future classes, and ready to speak with you about your future with CIT and any questions you may have.
Thanks to all of you in our community, who are working tirelessly to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to work hard to ensure our decisions honor the sacrifices and hours you have put in to help those around us.
Together We Can Win,
Da’shone Hughey
Executive Director
